|Junction City, KY (April 12, 2015) Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson and staff will have Ponderosa Speedway closed this Friday April 17, but will return to action on Friday April 24 with a $2,000 to win special for the Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models sponsored by Jay Construction and Restoration at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” .
Ponderosa Speedway will present a full racing program for all divisions this Friday evening April 24, with the Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models racing for $2,000 to win in their main event. Also scheduled for competition on Friday April 24 will be Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models racing for $1,000 to win, while the Sweet Beans and Things Modified division will race for $700 to win in their main event. At the end of the night, drivers must return their transponder (if they have it rented) to the payout window in order to be able to pick up their prize money that evening. Transponder pouches will be available to purchase for $15 each. Transponders must be mounted on the right-rear axle tube.
With it being a special event for the Premier Integrity Solutions Pro Late Models, there will be an entry fee for Pro Late Models for this event. The entry for Pro Late Models on April 24 will be $50 and does include the rental of a transponder.
