Ponderosa Speedway Cancels Racing Program for September 25
Junction City, KY (September 25, 2015) Ponderosa Speedway was set to return to action on Friday evening September 25 after two weeks off, but Mother Nature looks like she will win another one this year as the racing program scheduled for Friday September 25 has been cancelled.

With some rain showers having already fallen in and around the track, track officials checked local weather radars and more rain, some looking to be heavier rains, appeared to be heading toward the Ponderosa Speedway area, so the decision was made to cancel the racing program for Friday September 25.

The next event at Ponderosa Speedway will be the 25th Annual Fall Classic October 8 through October 10.  October 8 will be an open practice night, while all preliminary events will take place on Friday October 9, with B-Mains and A-Mains rolling on Saturday October 10.  The Southern Nationals Bonus Series presented by Collins Signs Super Late Models will race for $25,000 to win that weekend, with Modifieds racing for $5,000 to win, Pro Late Models $2,500 to win, and KDRA Super Stocks $1,000 to win.  Gates times and admission prices are listed on the track website.
