| Junction City, KY (April 14, 2016) Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson is pleased to announce a joint venture with Pivotal Racing that will allow race fans to purchase tickets for their favorite major events for the 2016 racing season at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” located just minutes from Danville, KY.
“We wanted a way to be more fan friendly for our patrons for our major events”, stated Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jerry Denson. “Fans can now purchase tickets online through the Pivotal Racing website and they can purchase either general admission tickets or reserved seat tickets for their favorite events at our track”, added Denson.
For interested individuals who would like to purchase their tickets online, all that has to be done is for individuals to visit www.pivotalracing.com/venues/ponderosa-speedway and select the event they want to purchase tickets to attend. Prices appear for the events for general admission and reserved general admission seats after patrons click on the “buy now” tab located next to each event and follow the instructions. Reserved seats can be purchased here. If you would like to reserve the same seat you purchased last year, once your purchase has been made here, please contact track promoter Jerry Denson at (606) 235-0190 to confirm your seat number. The final part of the process will be to print out the receipt from your ticket purchase, as it will have a bar code on it, and that will be scanned upon your arrival at the track ticket office and/or will-call window to confirm your purchase.
The 2016 season at Ponderosa Speedway is set to begin on Friday April 29 with the 4th Annual Spring Showdown that will feature the Ray Cook promoted Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals in competition, with Super Late Models racing for $4,000 to win, along with a full racing program for Pro Late Models, Modifieds, KDRA Super Stocks, and Four Cylinders (Mini-Cup/Cyclones will now be off for this event).
