Ponderosa Speedway 2017 Track Rules Released for All Divisions
Junction City, KY (March 5, 2017) Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Jamie Stumph is pleased to announced the 2017 Ponderosa Speedway competing at the 3/8 mile D-shaped semi-banked clay oval known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring”.  Divisions that will be in competition at the track in 2017 include Super Late Models, Pro (Crate) Late Models, Modifieds, KDRA Super Stocks, Stock Four Cylinders, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones. 

Ponderosa Speedway will begin its 45th season of dirt track racing with a pair of open practice sessions, with the first one on Saturday afternoon March 25, followed by a Friday March 31 practice night as well.  The track will begin the racing season with a special Saturday April 1 season opener that will feature the Brucebilt Performance Iron-Man Modified Division Series in action for $2,000 to win, along with $600 to win for Stock Four Cylinders, plus a full racing program for Pro Late Models, KDRA Super Stocks, and Mini-Cup/Cyclones. 

The track will also race again on Saturday April 8 before switching to its normal race day of Friday on April 14 and that event will feature Super Late Models as the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals presented by Sunoco/Tennessee RV tour will visit for the 5th Annual Spring Showdown.
