Ponderosa Speedway Postpones Friday Night Thunder Until Friday May 5
Junction City, KY (April 28, 2017) Ponderosa Speedway was set to return to racing action on Friday April 28 but a weather forecast of heavy rains and storms would see the track postpone the scheduled Friday Night Thunder to Friday May 5. 

The Friday Night Thunder event will now take place on Friday May 5 and will see the KDRA Super Stocks compete for $1,200 to win, along with a full racing program for the Pro (Crate) Late Models ($1,000 to win), Open Wheel Modifieds ($800 to win), Stock Four Cylinders ($400 to win), and Mini-Cup/Cyclone ($100 to win).

Activities for the Friday May 5 event at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area and general admission area open at 4:00 p.m.  The drivers meeting will be at 7:00 p.m., with practice/time trial combo laps set to begin at 7:30 p.m., while the first race will take the green flag at 8:30 p.m.  All times EDT.  Ticket prices for the Friday May 5 in the general admission area will be $15 for adults, with children ages 12 and under free.  A pit pass will be $35.
